Frank Milius - Member of the Board
Dipl.-Kfm. Frank Milius, born on 06.04.1968 in Püttlingen, studied business administration at the University of Saarland. From 1994 to 1997 he managed the competency group e-learning/multimedia as academic assistant under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. August-Wilhelm Scheer, Director of the Institute for Business Information Technology at the University of Saarland.
From 1996 to 1997 he was engaged in designing and realising virtual universities at the Institute for Business Information Technology in cooperation with the Bertelsmann Foundation/Heinz Nixdorf Foundation. It was against this background that he founded imc information multimedia communication at the beginning of 1997 together with Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. August-Wilhelm Scheer, Dr. Wolfgang Kraemer and Dr. Volker Zimmermann.
As a member of the management board of IMC AG in Saarbruecken he is responsible for product development and strategy of the Performance Support System LIVECONTEXT.
Frank Milius is a member of the Schmalenbach Working Committee "Online Education and Further Training". His interests are mainly focused on the issues of e-learning, software frameworks and user interface design for internet applications. He has written more than 50 articles for newspapers on the issue of e-learning and multimedia.
