IMC & Blue Lanes: Two birds with one stone

Promising partnership between IMC AG and Blue Lanes B.V.

The Dutch BPM and e-Learning company Blue Lanes B.V. has started a partnership with IMC AG, Europe’s leading provider of learning-, talent- and content-solutions. Blue Lanes added IMC’s internationally perceived learning and talent tools CLIX, POWERTRAINER and LIVECONTEXT as well as their whole range of standard and bespoke content modules to its offerings. IMC and Blue Lanes are very optimistic about their collaborate operations on the Dutch and Belgian market.

“It is a very promising partnership: IMC wishes to further expand in the Netherlands and in Belgium, while Blue Lanes wants to extend its product portfolio. Working together really hits two birds with one stone”, Dr Wolfgang Kraemer, CEO at IMC AG, explains the forward-looking step the two companies took recently.

Blue Lanes is an ambitious company, founded by Drs Mark H.C. Straathof who – before starting his own company – worked as Vice-President Benelux Consulting at the former BPM consulting company IDS Scheer AG. Just like IMC AG, IDS Scheer was founded by Professor August-Wilhelm Scheer, whose business network Scheer Group GmbH now brought IMC and Blue Lanes together. The goal is to serve Dutch and Belgium companies as well as organisations from the public sector with tools and content for learning, talent management and performance support.

IMC sees a great benefit in the partnership as the Blue Lanes Director knows the Dutch and Belgium market like the back of his hand. Furthermore, IMC’s products fit in perfectly with the BPM portfolio offered by Blue Lanes. For instance, LIVECONTEXT was designed to support users when working with different new applications after the implementation of a redefined BPM strategy. And with IMC’s ARIS2CLIX converter, creating e-learning content from existing business process models becomes incredibly easy.
