CLIX 2012’s previously announced Innovation Pack 1 is available now. The innovations developed by IMC AG, with a close focus on market needs and the customer user experience, include compliance, mobile learning and succession planning functions.
Compliance readiness
The key feature of the CLIX Innovation Pack 1 is system-based staff training and certification as a reliable way of meeting compliance requirements. With its new audience building and certification functions, CLIX maps out the complete compliance process: in nomination, concrete target groups are selected for a learning activity. Tracking follows course progress at every step, whilst chasing covers automatic reminders about learning activities which were not started or not completed in time, over multiple levels and taking into account specific exceptions. In the final stage, reporting supplies all the information needed on the compliance measure performed.
Mobile excellence
There are also numerous innovations in the field of mobile learning, currently one of the most relevant e-learning drivers: CLIX Mobile, which runs on both iOS and Android devices, allows events, learning material and news deposited in CLIX to be managed anywhere using a mobile phone. The brand-new e-tests with different exercise types of single or multiple choice, fill in the blanks and rearranging questions offer a variety of opportunities for effective m-learning. Regular synchronisation with the CLIX learning and talent management system also prevents data loss and overlaps in completing exercises.

A versatile overview of the skills, competencies and talents available in the company is offered by succession and career planning via the intelligent organisation chart. Using definable indicators such as willingness to travel or language skills, precise analyses can be performed for positions which become vacant and potential successors identified in a targeted fashion from the newly-integrated pool of candidates. Drag & drop handling and an alternative horizontal arrangement of CVs in a timeline make the planning process even easier.
